YOGA

I have been participating in yoga for 3 years now, and absolutely love it. 

There are many great benefits to yoga such as increased flexibility, increased lubrication of the joints, ligaments and tendons, and (in yoga terms) massages all of the organs of the body. The combination of these is said to help you stay healthier, thinner, and can even prevent the onset of kidney or heart disease.

There are many forms of yoga ranging from beginner to expert and I have tried most of them. Bikram Yoga was by far the hardest I have tried. It takes place in a room that is heated to 105 and lasts for 90 minutes. You end up feeling very light headed during parts of it but that is normal and is caused by the compression the poses and the increase in oxygen flow in your body. After attending only three classes I had more energy, my jeans fit a little better, and my senses felt heightened.
